Project Ideas with Raspberry Pi for New Year

As an engineer or an electronics lover, we are always looking for interesting challenges and new project ideas. Regarding this, a development board such as Raspberry Pi offers lots of interesting ideas. Today I'm going to talk about some project ideas to start in the new year.

1)Weather Station: This an interesting project, which brings different components together to realise. From temperature measurement to humidity, you should learn to work with different sensors. Additionally this data should be processed in Raspberry Pi or you can implement a smartphone app to make the task complexer.

2)Autonomous Robot: Again a complex project with different segments. From mechanical parts to sensors, it asks for some hardware and software skills. From self-driving robots to self-balancing standing robots, the design is up to your imagination. 

3)Music box: This project needs some programming skills and it's really cool to learn some properties of Raspberry Pi. You can connect speakers and build a music server with Raspberry Pi to create your own little disco. Again here the smartphone can be connected for better user experience.   

4)Image Detection: As you know these boards come with additional parts and one of the extensions is a camera. With this you can implement some image recognition projects and develop your AI programming skills, since the board gives the opportunity to use Python.
